Join us this weekend for Riverfest in Canton, GA on September 26-27!
We had a great time this past weekend at Suwanee Fest in Suwanee, Ga!
This week and last week have been filled with replacing all of our inventory that y'all have been snatching up at the shows! We are so happy to be busy with studio work because that means that y'all are giving us great business so please keep it up!
We have begun using a new kind of canvas called Lyve Canvas. This particular kind of canvas has a lot less texture than our other Crystalline Canvas and is much smoother. Due to its fine quality however, it needs to be sealed after printing so that it doesn't yellow or deteriorate with age. We use a product called Glamour II to seal the canvas.
The Glamour II is a thick liquid that must be diluted with water and then rolled onto the canvas and be left to dry. Besides protecting the canvas, after drying, the Glamour II also seems to make the colors shine even more!
Some of these Glamour II coated prints went on to be mounted onto wood boards to make our canvas boards.
After Mike built the frames, our newest team member, Megan, lacquered them for protection and shine.
And we use weights to hold everything in place while the glue dries!
Now it's time to get messy and chase bubbles!
Come find them in the booth to see the finished product!
We can't wait to see everyone out in Canton, Ga this weekend at Riverfest!
