Workdays in the Studio
Hello WonderWorks fam!
This week was packed full of work in the studio. Tuesday Mike and the interns did research on building a lightbox. This simple task turned out to be quite the endeavor. Since we have 36x48 prints in our inventory we need to make a lightbox big enough. We decided to make our lightbox out of pvc pipes, using sheets to cover it and hang the pieces with a C-Stand from B&H photo. Having the lightbox will allow us to photograph our pieces and upload them to our online store so customers can view the prints in different formats like canvas, frames, and other cool mediums.
Wednesday was an online work day. The interns, Stephanie and Ellie worked on the website making a few final changes to the layout and links. The website is looking great, thanks guys! Next week the lightbox will be done so that means the store is almost ready.
Thursday and Friday were inventory days in the studio. The team went through all of the pieces currently in stock and checked them off on the inventory log. With as many pieces that WonderWorks has, it is super important to keep track of them all. We also decided what pieces to include and which to retire in the future. WonderWorks is in the process of a makeover and with the new online store many changes are being made.
In other news, we are proud to announce that we just hit 2,000 followers on Facebook and the number is steadily rising. Thank you to all of our followers, you are the backbone of our business!
