The Work Goes On!
The Work Goes On!
WonderWorks is keeping busy in the studio!
Out next show is Shoppe Artisan on December 4-6 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Ga.
This show will be a great way to finish your holiday shopping list!
We love it when our past customers send us photos of our works inside their homes. An entire dining room was recently decorated with our pieces!
We are busy stocking up on all of our inventory in preparation for a great show!
We've also been making some improvements to the studio!
We've added an air filtration system and thick plastic barriers to eliminate as much dust from the work room as possible. This will hopefully help us create even more beautiful resin pieces.
WonderWorks has also made a pretty big purchase recently, an Epson 9890 large format printer!
We are now able to print and stretch our large canvases right here in the studio as well as print larger size pieces to be framed.
In order to stretch our large canvases, we must first line up the stretcher bars (the frame) to the back of the canvas. It is crucial to make sure that all measurements are even and that the bars are centered on the canvas.
We poke a hole through the edge to help us line the print.
We use a tool call a Stretch Relief to help us stretch the canvas around the bars.
A beautiful stretched canvas!
We also built a drying rack in order to clean up our counter space as we create piece after piece.
We are doing big things over here at WonderWorks and we thank you for keeping up with us!
Please come out and join us at Shoppe Artisan, December 4-6!
