Rain Couldn't Keep Us Away!

We've had a great time at the last two shows even though BOTH came with lots and lots of rain!

We had to break out the rain boots at Riverfest!

After this past weekend at Norcross Art Splash, all of our tent walls needed to be hung up so they can dry out before we go to Johns Creek in two weeks:

October 17-18.

Even with all of the rain, we had two successful shows in Canton and Norcross and had a wonderful time meet all of the great people who braved the weather and came out to see us.

We have been working on some new pieces these past two weeks in the studio.

Our Mellowing wine barrel piece has been extremely popular at the shows so we had to make another! We use a material called Miracle Muck to adhere the print to the barrel. Then we lacquer the entire piece to give it a great shine and lots of protection! This piece turned out beautiful.

We also brought out our packs of lovely notecards and mini easel kits for the Norcross show!

These make great inexpensive gifts!

Children just love the mini easels! And our notecards are a beautiful way to keep in touch with friends and family.

We also resined three pieces, two of which are new images from a recent trip to Sedona, Arizona. One happens to be a panorama image titled Chavez Ranch that is 16x48. The other is titled Palatki and they are both absolutely stunning!

Chavez Ranch Print: $30; Limited Edition Certificate; Sized for a 18x24 mat; Exhibition Fiber (---)Print: $30; Limited Edition Certificate; Sized for a 18x24 mat; Exhibition Fiber (---) Palatki

We had to lacquer all of the frames, glue them to the image boards (we used weights to hold everything in place while the wood glue dried) and then iron on the wood siding to give the board edges a finished wood look.

Look for these wonderful finished resin coated pieces at our next show:

the Johns Creek Arts Festival October 17-18!
